Our Earth

Our earth is one of the nine orbits round the sun. The sun is burning at 6000 degree celius. However the distance between the sun and earth is very appropriate. If the earth is closer to the sun, we will all be roasted. If the distance between earth and sun is longer, we all will be frozen.

Besides, our earth is rotating at an angle of 23 degree. This deviation causes 4 season on earth, spring, summer, autumn and winter. What a beautiful environment we are living in !

The earth is surrounded by a layer of atmosphere. It is the security guard of the earth. Its ozone layer filter extra UV light from sun. Any ultraspace objects falling towards the earth will be burnt to small ash in the atmosphere.

Wonderful free gift - Water

Have you drank water today? Your body is compoesd of 80% water. Water is a wonderful free gift from God.

Chemically, water is a molecule composed of 2 hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. These two elements are explosive by itself, but water is used to quench fire.

Besides, water has surprising high latent heat capacity that it helps to maintain the temperature of the earth. During the day, a lot of heat energy is absorbed in order to raise water by one degree. The creatures in the sea will not be boiled to death. At night, heat energy is released to maintain the air temperature.

Another surprising feature of water is it expand when the temperature drops below 4 degree celcius. Most things on earth will contract when the temperature drops. If water follows this rule, ice will sink to the bottom of the sea and all creatures in the sea will be frozen. However, ice is less dense than water and floats. It acts as a protective floor to prevent future freezing of water. This feature of water saves lives under the sea.

Our Nature

Our Nature is filled with harmony. It is surprisingly that it is a perfect recycle system. Animals needs oxygen for metabolism and release carbon dioxide. Plants recycle this carbon dioxide and convert it to food through photosynthesis.

A little spider make a web but this web does not catch itself. Ant does not go to school but they are well organized and live in community. Birds do not have compass but they know which direction. Flowers use their beautiful colour to attract butterflies and bees. They used their nectar so that bees will climb down and collect as food. Flowers nourish the bees and the bees help them to disperse their pollens. They do have mind, but we know that it is the win-win situation that they both help one another. There must be a designer that plan all these.

A Story of Newton

One day, a scientist visited Newton, and Newton showed him a model of the universe. This model had all the orbits moving round the sun. This scientist was amazed and asked Newton who made it.

Newton said, "I just put a few nails and woods there. When winds blow through, it rotates. The sun shines on it, and after a period of time, it became this model."

The scientist said, "You must be joking. It must be well designed and made by someone who is a genius. Please tell me who he is."

Newton said again, "Even this small model, you do not believe that it is created by nobody. How about this wonderful universe ? Why do you think it comes out naturally by accident ? What is the logic ?"

Answer: Our eyes are very limited and cannot see everythings in the world. Our eye can only interpret a limited range of frequency of light waves, and objects within certain size. For example, we cannot see virus or atoms, but they really exist. With the use of other equipment, we can interpret them. We cannot see electricity. But when we turn on the electric equipments, we know that there is electricity.
